Schwarzman Scholars is a highly selective, fully-funded scholarship program designed to ensure that the next generation of business, political, and civil society leaders can effectively and peacefully bridge the divide between China and the rest of the world.

Anchored in an immersive one-year Master’s Degree in Global Affairs at Beijing’s Tsinghua University (one of China’s premier institutions), the program provides Scholars with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through a globally curated curriculum.

What the Scholarship Covers

This is a comprehensive, fully-funded program. The scholarship covers:

• Tuition: Full cost of tuition and fees for the Master’s program.
• Accommodation: Room and board at the state-of-the-art Schwarzman College.
• Travel: In-country study tours and round-trip travel to and from Beijing.
• Extras: A personal stipend for living expenses, course books, a Lenovo laptop, and comprehensive health insurance.

Eligibility Criteria

• Degree: Must hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university by August 2027.
• Age: Must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of August 1 of the enrollment year.
• Language: Exceptional English language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL required if you did not study at an English-speaking undergraduate institution).
• Profile: The selection committee focuses heavily on leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, cross-cultural adaptability, and outstanding academic achievement.
