The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS), formerly known as the Korean Government Scholarship Program, is a fully funded graduate scholarship offered by the Government of South Korea. For 2026, the program will select approximately 2,000 international students for Master’s and PhD degree programs across South Korean universities. The scholarship covers full tuition fees, monthly living allowances, airfare, medical insurance, Korean language training, research support, and completion grants. No IELTS, TOEFL, or GRE is required. Studies will begin in September 2026. Applicants can apply through two tracks: the Embassy Track or the University Track, depending on their country of origin. The program aims to promote international exchange and strengthen global cooperation through higher education
