Details
The Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program is an exceptional opportunity for students from developing nations, such as Nepal, to pursue a master degree abroad. This program is designed to support future leaders who are dedicated to economic and social development in their home countries.
This scholarship is completely fully funded. If selected, you will receive full tuition fee coverage for your entire master degree program. You will also receive a monthly living stipend to help pay for your accommodation and daily meals. Additionally, the scholarship covers your round-trip airfare, a travel allowance, and health insurance.
To be eligible for this program, you must be a citizen of a World Bank member developing country and you cannot hold dual citizenship with any developed country. You must have completed your bachelor degree at least three years before the application deadline. You are also required to have at least three years of paid, full-time work experience in a field related to development.
One of the most important requirements is that you must already have an unconditional offer of admission from one of the participating university programs before you can apply for this funding. The application cycle for 2026 is divided into two windows, and the second window closes in late May.
