The Atlas Corps Fellowship is a 12-month professional fellowship in the United States for top social change leaders from around the world. Fellows serve full-time with U.S.-based host organizations (like the UN Foundation, Ashoka, or the Malala Fund) to develop leadership skills and learn effective practices while providing their host organizations with diverse perspectives.
What the Fellowship Covers
This is a fully funded opportunity. Atlas Corps covers all the essential costs, including:
- Flight: Round-trip international airfare to the US.
- Visa: Sponsorship and application fees for the J-1 exchange visitor visa.
- Stipend: A monthly living stipend to cover basic expenses like food, housing, and local transportation.
- Insurance: Full health insurance coverage.
- Training: Participation in the Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the fellowship, you must:
- Have two to ten years of relevant experience in the social sector.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Be proficient in English (oral and written).
- Be 35 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Be committed to returning to your home country to apply the skills you have learned.
