For over 30 years, Echoing Green has been on the front lines of solving the world’s biggest problems, raising up the transformational leaders willing to speak truth to power and challenge the status quo. The Fellowship is designed for visionary leaders who have an original idea for a new organization and the passion to see it through.
Whether your organization is a for-profit, a non-profit, or a hybrid, Echoing Green provides the foundational support needed to launch and scale your impact.
What the Fellowship Provides
- Seed Funding: A stipend of $80,000 (paid over 18 months) to support the founder's living expenses or organizational growth.
- Leadership Development: Access to dedicated portfolio managers and specialized training.
- Global Network: Lifelong membership in a community of over 900 past fellows (including the founders of Teach For America and One Acre Fund).
- Wellness Support: Access to mental health and wellbeing resources to prevent founder burnout.
Eligibility Criteria
- Role: You must be the primary decision-maker and have primary executive/leadership authority for your organization.
- Stage: Your organization must be in its early stages (typically less than two years old).
- Language: You must be fluent in English.
- Commitment: You must commit to working full-time (at least 40 hours a week) on your enterprise during the fellowship.
